The Spring Blossom Trail
Welcome to the Charm and Wonder of the Spring Blossom Trail.The Vale of Evesham and its surrounding area has some of the most productive horticultural land in the country, and is well known for its apples, pears and plums. For the few short weeks between mid March and mid May, the road sides are ablaze with color - the soft pink tones of cherry and apple blossom contrast with the white of the pear and plum.
This will be a fully escorted tour and we will collect you from within the Cheltenham area in a delightful open top vintage car that will undoubtedly take you back to times gone by and escort you through the lanes and villages of this beautiful area. The Trail is a 40 mile route of natural beauty at its best and with the top down you will be able to experience the sensual smell of the flourishing blossom and it is a perfume that cannot be matched at any other time of year.
As we meander through this 40 mile trail we will stop for morning coffee and any of the markets or stalls you would like to visit. We suggest either a visit to one of the many quintessential hostelries for lunch, serving local produce from the farms in the surrounding area or we can arrange for a luxury hamper to be prepared and greet you for you lunch time refreshments. We can stop at any one of the many local farm shops, road-side stalls, pick-your-own centres or Farmers’ Markets for a truly horticultural experience. We will continue to explore this route through out the afternoon and maybe even take a couple of hours to walk the country paths, however much you choose to do with this day it will be truly relaxing and a delight to your senses.
