One of the great things about the Cotswolds is that the distances are not
great, and within 10 miles of, say, Stow-on-the-Wold you could find a dozen
small villages, each with its own charm.

market towns, each with the old market hall still there. This is at Tetbury

brought great wealth to the area in the Middle Ages, hence the large "wool"
