Home Up Who are we?

One of the great things about the Cotswolds is that the distances are not great, and within 10 miles of, say, Stow-on-the-Wold you could find a dozen small villages, each with its own charm.
honey coloured stone villages, and rolling countryside

Ancient market towns, each with the old market hall still there. This is at Tetbury

Wool brought great wealth to the area in the Middle Ages, hence the large "wool" churches that seem too big for the village they serve. Northleach church on left
And lots of Manor Houses.

Snowshill on the right, is now owned by the National Trust

Sudeley Castle still has the Dent Brocklehurst family living there (its in Winchcombe)

And Warwick Castle is probably the best preserved of the Norman castles in England
